Dehradun, 2 Aug: In a major reshuffle, the government today shifted the SSPs of Dehradun and Haridwar, while four other IPS officers were also transferred. Arun Mohan Joshi, presently posted as Commandant, IRB Second, has been brought in as the new SSP of Dehradun replacing Nivedita Kukreti. Kukerti has been attached to the State Police Headquarters as SP Intelligence and also given additional charge as SSP with Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd’s Vigilance Cell. Kukreti, believed to have the trust of CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, has completed her two-year tenure as SSP.
Senthil Aboodai Krishna Raj, presently posted as SP Vigilance at the State Police Headquarters, has been brought in as SSP, Haridwar, replacing Janmejaya Khanduri. Khanduri has been retained in Haridwar though and shifted as SSP, Kumbh Mela 2021, and also given charge as Commandant, IRB Second, in place of Joshi, who will take over as SSP, Dehradun. Lokeshwar Singh (IPS), posted as SP Bageshwar, has been shifted as SP (Regional) Haldwani in place of Preeti Priyadarshini, who will in return replace him as SP Bageshwar.
In addition, three PPS officers were also transferred today. ASP, Dehradun, Manikant Mishra has been shifted as ASP, CID, replacing Sarita Dobhal, who will now replace him as ASP Dehradun. Harbans Singh, hitherto posted as Deputy Commandant, SDRF, at Jolly Grant, has been shifted to UPCL’s Vigilance Cell.
