Asian School students take inspiration from ‘Fit India’

Dehradun, 29 Aug: Government of India’s ‘Fit India’ programme was witnessed by the staff members and all the students at The Asian School, here, today. The students keenly observed and saw various Fit India activities that were telecast from Delhi. It created a strong impact in the minds of those present.
All the students and staff members heard the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi very carefully. The PM stressed that such programmes had been started in various countries such as Japan, Germany and England. He emphasised that this was the programme of the people.
The students took a pledge that they would try to keep themselves, knowing that India would be fit if they were fit.
Present on the occasion were School Vice President Madanjeet Singh Juneja, Principal AK Das, Vice Principal Anant VD Thapliyal, Head, Middle School, Mukesh Nangia, Head Mistress Kalpana Grover, the entire teaching staff and the students.
