Cadets of RIMC dominate NDA Merit List

Dehradun, 5 Nov: RIMC Cadets have continued to bring laurels for the school. Cadets of RIMC have secured the top honours by performing their best in the All India UPSC NDA Merit list declared on 4 November.
There are a total of 16 boys from RIMC who have made it to the Merit list after a very competitive Written Examination conducted by UPSC and the Services Selection Board.
Out of several lakh candidates, UPSC has issued a merit list for 450 successful candidates who would join the premier Tri Services National Defence Academy in December 2019.
There are 4 RIMC boys in first the five ranks. The 1st, 2rd, 4th and 5th ranks have been secured by Cadet Captain Ripunjay Naithani , Cadet Quarter Master Deep Yagnesh Dave, Cadet Adjutant Agam and Cadet Ruturaj Dilip Badale, respectively.
Cadet Capt Ripunjay Nainthani hails from Uttarakhand. His father is a serving Colonel in the Indian Army and mother is an educationist. Cadet Quarter Master Deep Yagnesh Dave’s father is an accountant at Mumbai and Mother is a Homeopathic Doctor. Cadet Adjutant Agam belongs to Shimla and his father, Suresh Kumar, is a businessman.
A total of 8 boys have figured in first 40 achievers in the All India Merit List of the NDA examination.
Rashtriya Indian Military College is a premier boarding school of the country that provides Secondary and Senior secondary level of education of CBSE and has exclusively been designed for the aspirants for joining Defence Forces. Since its inception it has provided high level of leadership to the Indian Armed Forces. It has produced eight Chiefs of Defence Forces, a large number of three star generals, Civil Servants and Governors of many states of India.
