DEHRADUN, 25 Jan: The annual installation meeting of Dehradun Ophthalmological Society (DDOS) was held on 23 January.
Dr Saurabh Luthra, Senior Vitreoretinal Surgeon & Director, Drishti Eye Institute, Dehradun, took over as President of the society. The new team includes Dr Prashant Naithani as Secretary and Dr RK Jain as Treasurer. The outgoing team of President Dr Harsh Bahadur and Secretary Dr Smita Mehra handed over the reins to the incoming team at a well attended function.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Saurabh Luthra applauded the efforts of seniors and colleagues of DDOS in the past, and promised to continue to raise the level of academics of ophthalmology in the city.
On this occasion, renowned ophthalmologists present included patrons Dr MC Luthra, Dr RN Singh and senior members Dr Ravinder Kumar, Dr BK Oli, Dr Gopal Agarwal, Dr Anand Vardhan, Dr Anil Verma, Dr Rajesh Tewari, Dr Jaideep Datta, Dr Vinod Arora, Dr Gaurav Luthra and Dr Amit Singh among others.
