Dehradun, 16 Oct: Ecole Globale International Girls’ School participated in the CBSE North Zone – 1 Swimming Competition held at Vidya Global School, Meerut, and won 10 Gold, 12 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals. The school won 26 medals in total. As many as 800 students from 130 schools participated in the event. Also, 14 students from Ecole Globale got selected for the CBSE Nationals that will be held from 10 to 16 November in Bhopal.
Aalia Rastogi got 1 Bronze Medal in the 400m individual medley, 1 Gold Medal in 4X100m freestyle relay and 1 Gold in 4X100m medley relay; Urvi Pansari got 1 Silver in 200m freestyle, 1 Bronze in 400m freestyle, 1 Silver in 800m freestyle and 1Gold Medal in 4X100m freestyle relay; Preet Mehta got 1 Gold in 4X100m medley relay; Rechelle Bodkha got 1 Gold in 4X100m medley relay; Hazel Garg got 1 Bronze in 200m individual medley; 1Gold Medal in 4X100m freestyle relay and 1 Gold in 4X100m medley relay; Pearl Kapoor got 1 Gold in 4X100m medley relay; Avantika Jhunjhunwala got 1Gold Medal in 4X100m freestyle relay; Anoushka Nahata got 1Gold Medal in 4X100m Freestyle Relay; Chinar Thapa got 1 Bronze medal in 200m freestyle, 1 Silver in 4X100m freestyle relay and 1 Silver in 4X100m medley relay; Tamanna Agrawal got 1 Silver in 4X100m Medley relay and1 Silver in 4X100m freestyle relay; Srishti Kaushik got 1 Silver in 4X100m medley relay; Siya Zanwar got 1 Silver in 4X100m Medley relay and 1 Silver in 4X100m freestyle relay; Karitika Banka got 1 Silver in 4X100m freestyle relay; Manasvi Jadhav got 1 Silver in 4X100m Medley relay and 1 Silver in 4X100m freestyle relay.
Commenting on the performance of the students, Tarunjyot Singh, Director, Ecole Globe International Girls’ School said, “We are happy to see our students performing well in the CBSE North Zone – 1 Swimming Competition.
