Gov flags off mountaineer for Mt Everest bid

DEHRADUN, 26 Mar: Governor Baby Rani Maurya flagged off mountaineer Amisha Chauhan on an expedition to Mount Everest on Tuesday at Rajbhawan.
Amisha Chauhan will start her mission to scale Mount Everest on 28 March. Extending her best wishes to Amisha, the Governor said that her efforts would inspire the youths of the state, especially girls, to participate in adventure sports.
Amisha Chauhan has previously successfully scaled the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro and the highest peak in Europe, Mount Elbrus.
