Dehradun, 16 May: For the first time in Graphic Era University, all courses along with BTech will hold their counseling admission together. The counseling will be held on 18 May in the University campus. Also, the centres in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura, West Bengal and Rajasthan will have online counseling sessions. These centres will be connected online to Graphic Era Deemed University for smooth conduct of the counseling sessions for students who cannot be physically present, here.
In the list of top grade educational institutions from NAAC and Central Government, Graphic Era Deemed University along with Graphic Era Hill University, which got the status of best university, after IIT in Uttarakhand State of Engineering Category, the seats for all courses of the campuses of Dehradun and Bhimtal will be allotted through this counseling.
According to the Graphic Era spokesperson, along with BTech, MBA, MCA, BBA, BCCA, BCom(Hons), Media and Mass Communication, Animation, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, all Honours Course seats including Law, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, BSc (IT) will be allocated during the counseling. Counseling centres have been set up in Delhi, Patna, Lucknow, Meerut, Bareilly, Moradabad, Varanasi, Patna, Hyderabad, Agartala, Chandigarh, Kota (Rajasthan), Durgapur(West Bengal) and Mandi (Himachal Pradesh). Also, for counseling in Uttarakhand, centres have been set up in Haldwani, Pithoragarh, Almora, Khatima and the Bhimtal campus.
Registration for counseling will begin on 18 May at 7 a.m. The process of registration will run till 2 p.m. After this, counseling will start on the basis of merit. Counseling will continue till all the seats are filled. This time, the number of youth has increased due to the availability of packages up to Rs 40.67 lakhs in BTech in placements from Graphic Era and packages up to Rs16 lakhs in MBA. Special arrangements have been made for transparency during counseling. Arrangements have been made to display the allotment of seats. Parents and students will be seated in the waiting hall. Free bus services from the railway station and ISBT have also been arranged
