DEHRADUN, 7 Dec: An educational tour of Science students of classes IX & XI was conducted by the Hilton School, here, today. The students were escorted by two teachers. The purpose of the visit was to make them aware of Flora, Fauna, and making Science Projects and Herbaria.
Besides the above project, the students also enjoyed the Children’s Museum, Herbal Garden, etc.
Dr S Farooq provided guidance about making herbal colours and medicinal properties of culinary Indian herbs, like Saunf, Podeena, Ilaychi, Zeera, Maithi, Dhaniya, Tulsi, Dalchini, Laung, Jayphal, Curry Patta, Kalimirch, etc., with the help of Charts and Samples.
The teachers thanked Dr S Farooq for the valuable guidance and excellent hospitality provided to the students.
