Dehradun, 10 May: The Himalayan Public School celebrated Mother’s Day here today. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Archita Chaudhary. Also present were Principal Dr Ena Bannerjee, Director, Administration, Col VS Mall, Vice Principal Sonia Gulati, staff members and parents of primary classes.
The programme commenced with felicitation of the Chief Guest. Students of classes 4 and 5 presented colourful performances in the fancy dress competition. A dance dedicated to mothers was also performed. A special programme for mothers was also organised, which included a Ramp Walk and a quiz, which was judged by Primary Coordinator Radhika Subba.
The School Chairman, and Director, Administration, also addressed the gathering and wished all a Happy Mother’s Day.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Headmistress Renu Negi.
