Seminar held on Growth of Multi Cultural Spectrum in U’khand

Dehradun, 6 May: Intellectuals Foundation organised its 14th Annual Conference on Growth of Multi-Cultural Spectrum in Uttarakhand and presented the “Uttarakhand Ratan-2019 Award” at SGRR (PG) College Auditorium, here.
Chief Guest Prof PP Dhyani, Vice Chancellor, SGRR University, congratulated the organisers and said that such conferences played a vital role for the Multi-Cultural spectrum, as did the views expressed by the learned speakers.
Dr S Farooq, National President of the Foundation, presided over the programme and said in his address that people should respect each other’s culture and religion. This aspect needed to be propagated besides providing the locals with the basic necessities of life.
Guest of Honour KC Singh Baba, former MP, V Baurai and Sushila Balooni also spoke on the subject.
The prominent persons felicitated with the Uttarakhand Ratan Award were KC Singh Baba, Dr Ruchi Badola, HOD, Wildlife Institute, Arpita Chaudhary, Director, School Education, Priya Malik (Actress), Dr Ranu Goyal, Dr Kiran Negi, Madhu Maikhuri, and Agarima Sharma.
Also present on the occasion were Dr Mohit Goyal, Vinay Baurai, Rtn RK Bakhshi, Sunil Agarwal, Dr JP Sharma, Sandeep Sehgal, other prominent personalities and students of SGRR (PG) College.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Aditya Arya and the programme was organised by Secretary General Harsh Nidhi Sharma.
