4 more Graphic Era students to intern for Amazon

Dehradun, 3 Dec: Graphic Era has, once again, achieved a new milestone in placements. Four more students of Graphic Era are to intern at Amazon. In this placement drive, students of Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal campus, have also been selected.
Moreover, 34 Graphic Era students were placed today with the multinational company, Deloitte. Graphic Era continues to create placement opportunities for the students even after the Rs 43.95 lakh BTech placement in 2020.
Amazon announced the selection of the four students of Graphic Era last night. Two students are from Graphic Era Deemed University and the remaining from Graphic Era Hill University. The students are from the BTech computer science engineering department. During the lockdown period, three students of the same batch were selected for internship by Amazon and four students Amber Saxena (Shahjahanpur), Priyanka Gujral (Saharanpur), Ishita Verma (Prayagraj) and Ravindra Singh Bisht (Nainital) got packages of Rs 32 lakh from Amazon.
Students selected by Amazon include Graphic Era Deemed University’s Tanmay Gupta (Dehradun), Deepak Singh (Bageshwar) and Graphic Era Hill University’s Dehradun campus student Jagmohan Singh Bisht (Dwarahat, Almora), and Hill University Bhimtal campus student Mukesh Singh Bisht (Pithoragarh). After successful completion of internship, these students will be eligible for Rs 32 lakh packages.
After the virtual campus drive, today, by Deloitte, 11 students of Graphic Era deemed University, 18 students of Graphic Era Hill University Dehradun campus and 5 students of Bhimtal campus got selected. All the students are from BCA, BSc(IT) and BSc(CS). The students have been offered packages of Rs 3.75 lakhs, each.
President of Graphic Era group Dr Kamal Ghanshala congratulated the students who got selected in the company of their dreams, Amazon. He said that the academic education given in Graphic Era is a blend of corporate needs and the world class faculties and technology used in the laboratories helped the students achieve milestones that open new avenues for them.
Students are delighted with these placements before the completion of their degrees.
Placement coordinator of Graphic Era Dr Rajesh Pokhriyal said that, during the Covid-19 crisis, university continues to hold virtual placement drives for the students.
