Dehradun, 17 Nov: The Asian School Annual Fete was inaugurated, today, by Vice Principal Anant Vijay Dutt Thapliyal.
The Fete offered all age-groups a great opportunity to have fun. Asianites along with their family members and students from various schools came in multitudes to be a part of this fun and food extravaganza. There were a large number of stalls, offering savoury food items and shakes.
There were also game stalls offering students the chance to showcase their talents and skills. At the woodcraft stall, Shriya Bajaj of Grade XII created decorative items out of wood, all beautifully crafted, written and painted by her.
The request corner was the centre of attraction and played a good number of songs on demand. There were also a number of rides such as giant wheel, and roller coaster available for the students to enjoy and have fun. The jam session gave an opportunity to the students to tap their feet.
The lucky draw offered a wide range of attractive Gift Hampers such as a sponsored three-nights trip to Goa, Scooty, Refrigerator, Bicycle, Microwave oven, Mixer Grinder, Television set for the lucky winners to win. Sahil Dhaiya, Class XI, bagged the Cliq Scooty, Shivangi Nishad, Class X, got the television set, and the winner of the refrigerator was Carla of Class XII.
