Olympus High celebrates 70th Republic Day

DEHRADUN, 27 Jan: Olympus High celebrated the 70th Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm in its school premises.
The celebrations commenced with a flag hoisting by Managing Director Kunal Shamshere Malla followed by a motivational speech by him.
Later, performances like poetry recitation, singing and dancing were held. Principal Anuradha Malla and Senior Coordinators Vandana Thakur and Manpreet Singh distributed sweets to the students.
A friendly cricket match was also played during the day. The match was played between teams of the teachers and students.
A felicitation ceremony was also held during the day in which the previous year’s board students Lipika Guha and Shruti Pandey were awarded with scholar certificates from CBSE for outstanding academic performance. It was followed by recognising the Tablet winners in the school super league. The winning students Garvit of Class VI and Sanskar Chaudhary of class VII were presented the tablets by Kunal and Anuradha Malla.
Several competitions such as best out of waste (plastic), collage making and slogan writing were also held. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony at which awards were presented by Principal Anuradha Pundeer Malla.
