Dehradun, 18 Apr: The CBSE, in collaboration with NSE Academy, New Delhi, conducted a day-long Awareness Programme for Principals on Skill Education at a local school in Miyanwala. Eighty-two Principals of Dehradun region participated in the awareness programme.
The aim of the awareness programme was the introduction of skill courses launched by CBSE at the Secondary and Senior Secondary level to provide career opportunities to students. The participants expressed their willingness to introduce the skill subject as an additional sixth subject along with the existing five compulsory subjects in their schools.
The resource persons cum key speakers of the awareness programme on Skill Education were Niti Shankar Sharma, Assistant Secretary, CBSE, and Abhishek Dave, Chief Manager, NSE Academy, New Delhi. The feedback from the awareness programme was very positive.
Atul Rathore, presented a bouquet to Niti Shankar Sharma, Assistant Secretary, CBSE. Principal JP Sharma presented a bouquet to Abhishek Dave. The awareness programme culminated with the vote of thanks proposed by the Principal.
