Dehradun, 15 Mar: The BJP has described the budget presented by the Dhami Government today as inclusive and development oriented. Expressing gratitude to the CM, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt said that the way provision has been made in the budget for self-employment, tourism, farming and women’s interests, it can be definitely said that the budget will make the state self-reliant and prosperous in the coming decade. He added that provisions like free books to Scheduled Tribe students, increase in honorarium of Anganwadi workers, increase in scholarship for backward girl students, girl cycle scheme, an assistance of Rs 50 thousand for the preparation of Public Service Commission, increase in allowance of NCC cadets and self-employment including Chief Minister’s talent promotion.
Bhatt expressed satisfaction over the provision of Rs 1,000 crore for the Joshimath affected and said that the government will leave no stone unturned. He said that all the sectors have been given due focus in the budget, due to which the state will move towards economic progress.
