NAINITAL, 6 Oct: Group Captain TS Pruthi, Station Commander, Air Force Station, Bhowali, handed over command to Group Captain PP Desai, here, on 4 October. Group Captain TS Pruthi had taken over command on 2 May, 2018, and after successfully completing his tenure is moving on posting to a tri-services communications hub in Delhi area. His wife, Jasbir Pruthi, President, AFWWA(L), worked hard for the welfare of the Sanginis. Group Captain PP Desai was commissioned in the Aeronautical Engineering branch of Indian Air Force on 28 December, 1998. Group Captain PP Desai is MTech in IT from IIT Kaharagpur. Earlier, Group Captain Desai has held portfolios of Senior Technical Officer & Flight Commander at various Air Force Bases and has also held appointments at Air Headquarters and Command Headquarters. Group Captain Desai has been awarded the Commendation by Chief of Air Staff and Air Officer Commanding-in- Chief. Group Captain Desai is married to Tejaswini Desai and they have a daughter.
