DEHRADUN, 14 Mar: The Executive Committee of the DAV (PG) College Alumni Association met today at 1 Inder Road under the patronage of Dr S Farooq. There was also presentation of a book, “Glimpses from Survey of India covering 250 years”, authored by Brig KG Behl (Retd), who was also present.
Along with other decisions, the association has decided to hold its Annual General Body (AGM) on 13 April at 7.30 p.m. at Hotel Madhuban.
The agenda of the meeting includes presentation of the activity report including financial status, declaration and installation of new Executive Committee and a cultural programme. The AGM shall be presided over by an eminent person as a chief guest and guest of honour.
The meeting was attended by Dr BB Raizada, RK Bakshi, Anil Verma, Amarjit Singh Bhatia, Dr Aditya Arya, Anil Jaggi, Tarlochan Singh and Dr Himmat Singh. Dr IP Saxena, former VC, HNB Garhwal University, was present as a special invitee.
