Dehradun, 31 Jul: A group consisting of 90 PG students of the Commerce Department of Graphic Era University paid an industrial visit to The Himalaya Drug Company, here, today.
President Dr S Farooq welcomed them and in his address said, “You are studying Commerce and in modern times due to E-Commerce, the sky is the limit for expansion of any business. But of paramount importance are ethics in business, which should be strictly followed.”
Several questions were raised by the students, which were replied by him. The students showed keen interest in the various medicinal plants in the Herbal Garden and learned about their use in day to day health problems being faced today. They were shown the Museum, Labs and manufacturing area. A film on Himalaya Drugs was also screened for them.
The students were accompanied by their Professors. Prof Dr Ambica Prakash Mani proposed the Vote of Thanks. Also, present on the occasion were Dr Maya Ram and RK Bakshi.
