Governor lauds Hans Foundation work

NEW DELHI, 23 Nov: Governor, Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd), highlighted the exemplary work done by the Hans Foundation in the fields of health, education, women’s empowerment, rural development, disaster management, and child welfare across the country. He expressed gratitude to Mata Mangla and Bhole Maharaj. He was speaking on the ocassion of the 15th anniversary of the Hans Foundation in New Delhi on Saturday and praised the organization’s remarkable service activities.

The Governor remarked, “following the principle of ‘Seva Parmo Dharma,’ the Hans Foundation has made incomparable contribution to the welfare of humanity.” He appreciated the foundation’s hospitals, including the General Hospital and Eye Care Hospital in Uttarakhand, and its health services in high Himalayan regions. He also commended the foundation’s efforts to empower women and youth through self-employment, provide financial support to meritorious but economically weaker students, and raise awareness to natural disasters.

The Governor also acknowledged the foundation’s programmes such as “Har Ghar Sehat Ki Dastak” and “Little Heart,” which have saved thousands of lives. Furthermore, the foundation has played a significant role in bridging inequalities by reaching out to remote areas of the country. He said, “The path of service leads us to the divine. I wish that the Hans Foundation’s service journey continues tirelessly towards the welfare of humanity.”
