Congratulating the newly appointed candidates on this occasion, Dhami expressed confidence that they would discharge their duties with honesty, integrity and dedication and would play a vital role in fulfilling the resolve to make Uttarakhand a developed, self-reliant, and leading state in the country. The CM emphasised the critical role of the Economics and Statistics Department as the nodal agency for data collection and analysis, stating that quality, reliable, and timely data are fundamental for effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of government schemes. Dhami added that extensive employment and self-employment opportunities have been created through schemes such as the Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana, the new Start-up and Entrepreneurship Policy, the new Tourism Policy, and through various initiatives in agriculture, fruit production and homestays and that they have contributed to a significant rise in reverse migration figures in the state.
