Haridwar Elmas, Dehradun Warriors register big wins in UPL 2025

Dehradun, 3 Oct: Haridwar Elmas and Dehradun Warriors recorded important wins in the Uttarakhand Premier League 2025, strengthening their chances of reaching the finals.
In the morning match, Haridwar Elmas defeated Tehri Titans by five wickets. Tehri Titans struggled while batting and were bowled out for 129 runs in 19.2 overs. Captain Shobhit Sareen scored a fighting 59, but wickets fell regularly, putting pressure on the team. Sumit Juyal and Abhay Chhetri took three wickets each for Haridwar, while Siddarth Gupta picked up two.
During the chase, Haridwar faced some challenges as regular wickets fell. Priyanshu Khanduri played a calm, unbeaten 35, helping the team stabilize, while Himanshu Sony hit a quick 14 runs to secure the win with eight balls to spare. With this victory, Haridwar became the first team to reach 10 points and strengthened their position at the top of the table.
In the afternoon match, Dehradun Warriors defeated Rishikesh Falcons by 93 runs. After batting first, Dehradun posted a big total of 216/4. Sanskar Rawat scored a brilliant 71, supported by captain Yuvraj Chaudhary’s 52.
Aanjaneya Suryavanshi and Harshit Paliwal added crucial runs to help the team cross 200.
Rishikesh Falcons struggled in the chase and were bowled out for just 123 in 18.1 overs. Naveen Kumar Singh led the Warriors’ bowling attack with 3 wickets, while Mayank Mishra and Yuvraj Chaudhary took two wickets each.
These wins have put Haridwar Elmas and Dehradun Warriors in strong positions as the league moves closer to the final stage.
