ICFRE celebrates ‘Constitution Day’

Dehradun, 26 Nov: The Government of India celebrates 26 November of every year as “Constitution Day” to promote constitutional values among citizens.
On this occasion, officers, scientists, employees assembled in the convocation hall of FRI, here, today. Director General, Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education, and Director, Forest Research Institute, Arun Singh Rawat read out the preamble of the constitution and all the officers and employees took the oath to abide by it.
Besides this, FRI also organised an online webinar on “Constitutional values” from 12 to 1 p.m.
The keynote lecture was delivered by Dr Parul Dixit, Head and Assistant Professor, Law, DAV PG College, Dehradun, via online mode.
