Dehradun, 27 Feb: Parwal Pratap Singh, MD of Innovator Dehradun, shared insights into his company’s initiative of establishing a robotic innovation lab in schools. His aim is to nurture students’ interest in cutting-edge technology from an early age.
Arvind Gupta, CEO of ASI Network, elucidated on his company’s work in product design and collaborations with international entities.
Prof Amit Kumar, Project Director of Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana (DUY), in Dehradun, emphasised the significance of innovation in contemporary times and the necessary conditions for its cultivation.
In a gesture of gratitude, Prof Durgesh Pant, Director General of UCOST, presented mementos to the guest speakers and extended his appreciation for their enlightening contributions.
Further, Manan Narang, CEO of Silicone Feller, shared insights into the potential of quantum computers and their forthcoming impact on the industrial sector, forecasting a positive revolution.
The students in the lectures presented their innovative ideas and interacted with the experts.
The Science Demonstration Lecture (SDL) conducted by GS Rautela, Advisor of Science City, and Ankit Kandiya provided students with practical insights into scientific concepts, making learning both enjoyable and experiential.
The participants in the programme presented their innovative ideas and works through a poster exhibition. Participants from different areas of the state attended various sessions of the programme.

The day concluded on an engaging note with a science-themed drama presented by the staff of UCOST and RSC, featuring enthusiastic participation from students representing various institutions.
More than 200 students, teachers and experts from institutions like Dolphin PG College, Tula’s Institute, HIT Dehradun, Graphic Era University, etc., participated. Dr Poonam Gupta, Emeritus Scientist, UCOST, and Kanchan Dobhal, Scientific Officer, UCOST, coordinated the drama, adding a creative touch to the event.
