Dehradun, 13 May: The Police have arrested a lawyer and his twin sons after a brawl that happened on Thursday night. It is alleged that the three entered the victim’s office and attacked him with murderous intent. A case has been registered against six named and others in the case.
Birendra Singh, a resident of Alaknanda Vihar, Nakraunda, has alleged that Pramod Kumar Baliyan, Hari Om Singh Yadav, Aman Baliyan, Naman Baliyan, Mehar Singh Manwal, Surjit Singh and some employees of Pramod Baliyan came to his office on Thursday evening with lathis. It is alleged that Birendra Singh, Praveen Rawat and one other were beaten up by the intruders and were seriously injured. All the office property including the furniture was also broken by them. Police have registered a case and arrested the main accused Pramod Kumar Baliyan, resident of Dashmesh Vihar Aamwala, his twin sons Aman and Naman Baliyan late on Thursday night.
All three were presented in the court of ACJM I Niharik Mittal Gupta yesterday where a very long round of arguments transpired over the remand of the accused. Finally, the court sent all the three accused to jail in judicial custody. City Kotwal Vidya Bhushan Negi told that the people who were beaten up used to work with the main accused Pramod Kumar, earlier. However, the victims have now opened their own office which probably led to enmity between the two parties. The brawl that happened on Thursday night was a result of this enmity.
