NEW DELHI, 23 Jul: State’s Public Works, Tourism, Irrigation, Panchayati Raj, Rural Works, Watershed, Endowment and Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj met Draupadi Murmu and congratulated her on being elected the country’s first tribal woman President and congratulated her on her historic victory. Maharaj on Saturday met Murmu at her residence in New Delhi and conveyed to her best wishes on behalf of the people of Uttarakhand on being elected as first tribal woman President of the country. He said that the country has got its 15th President in the form of Draupadi Murmu. India has sent a strong message across the world that it does not consider women equal to men, but even better than them. The victory of Draupadi is not only a victory of a particular person but of the entire Sanatan culture.
