Executive order will be issued soon for recognition of Sanskrit schools
Vacant posts of the department will be filled by transfer and deputation

Dehradun, 11 Mar: Instructions have been given to the departmental officers, for which the rules of the big Sanskrit education department pending at the government level for a long time will be issued soon. Posts lying vacant for a long time in various institutions under the department will be filled through deputation and service transfer as per requirement.  Under Sanskrit education, board examinations to be held from April 8 to April 21 have been asked to be conducted without cheating and with transparency.  In view of the new academic session, instructions have been given to the departmental secretary to issue executive orders soon for the recognition of Sanskrit schools.
State’s Sanskrit Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat today took a review meeting of the Sanskrit department in the assembly hall. Dr Rawat said that instructions have been given to the departmental officers to conduct the high school and intermediate board examinations to be held from April 8 to April 21 under the Sanskrit Education Board without cheating and with transparency. He said that in order to strengthen the departmental structure of Sanskrit education, the departmental rules will be issued soon. Apart from this, instructions have been given to fill the long-standing vacant posts in various institutions under the department, on the basis of deputation and service transfer.  Instructions been given to the departmental officers so that there is no disturbance in the departmental work.  The departmental minister told that one Sanskrit village is to be established in each district. Instructions have been given to speed up the selection process.
He told that various schemes are being run by the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy to promote Sanskrit and Sanskrit education, under which programs for Purva Madhyama, Uttar Madhyama, Shastri, Acharya and graduate and post graduate students of state’s high school and intermediate classes and university level are being conducted. The students who get the first three places will be honored for getting the maximum marks in Sanskrit subject.  Apart from this, free text books will be provided to the students studying and registered in primary Sanskrit schools.  Sanskrit scholarship will be given to the students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.  Under the research scholarship scheme, 10 research students registered in the Sanskrit department of state universities will be given a scholarship of Rs 30,000 for one year.  Financial grant will be given to 20 schools and colleges under the Teaching Assistance Scheme in Sanskrit schools and colleges. A grant of Rs 50,000 will be given for the purchase of computers, furniture, etc., in non-government Sanskrit schools with a view to fulfill the paucity of resources.
In the meeting, Secretary Sanskrit Education Dr Chandresh Kumar, Director Sanskrit Education SP Khali, Secretary Uttarakhand Sanskrit Education Council Dr Vajshrava Arya, Deputy Director Padmakar Mishra, Registrar Sanskrit University Girish Kumar Awasthi, Assistant Director Chandi Prasad Ghildiyal, Research Officer Dr.  Harish Gururani, General Secretary Sanskrit Teachers Association Dr. Naveen Pant and other departmental officers were present.
All India Sanskrit Research Conference will be held on March 17-18
Sanskrit Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat informed that a two-day All India Sanskrit Research Conference on the subject of research possibilities and research skills, under Sanskrit education is being organized on March 17-18 at the academy campus, Haridwar. In this Sanskrit scholars, teachers, teachers and research students from different states of the country will participate. Similarly, to promote Sanskrit language, All India Sanskrit Kavi Sammelan and All India Astrology and Vastu Sammelan have been organized from time to time.
