Nagar Kirtan taken out to celebrate Guru Nanak’s 550th Birth Anniversary

Haridwar, 30 Oct: A grand ‘Nagar Kirtan’ was taken out here, today, to celebrate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak. Prominent among those present on the occasion were Kothari Mahant Prem Das of the Udasin Akhara, Mahant Nirmal Das and other seers.
The Nagar Kirtan was organised by the Gol Gurudwara Managing Committee and the State President of the All India Motor Transport Congress, Sardar DS Mann. It was led by the ‘Panch Pyaras’, who were welcomed with presentation of swords. Blessings were obtained from the Guru Granth Sahib.
The devotees partook of Prasad. They had also arrived from Dinarpur, Subhash Garh and other rural areas. The President of the Gol Gurudwara Committee Tek Singh, Jt Secretary Sardar Jaspal Singh, Ravindra Singh Mann, Bhola Singh, Ravindra Pal Singh, Anuj Singh Vikki, Bhupendra Singh Sati, Gopal Singh, Chaudhary Pal Singh and others welcomed the Nagar Kirtan.
