Haridwar, 17 Jan: During the past Corona pandemic, when there was an outcry in the entire world, the scientists of Patanjali Research Foundation, through continuous research, developed Coronil and saved thousands of lives. It brought focus on Ayurveda.
Now, for research on the new variant of Corona, spike protein has been procured from China’s Sino Biological Lab, on which scientists of Patanjali Research Institute will do research.
Currently, the new variant of Corona, Omicron JN-1, is again spreading all over the world. In order to advance its research work in the field of corona treatment, Patanjali Research Institute has started new research on spike protein.
General Secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Acharya Balkrishna said that the new variant, Omicron JN-1 is spreading in the country and abroad. The spike protein of the virus is required for the research to be done to cure the disease. Patanjali Research Institute is the first institution where the spike protein of Omicron JN-1 virus has been obtained.
By doing research on the spike protein of this Omicron JN-1 virus, Patanjali will re-establish Ayurveda on the standards and parameters of modern medical science.
Dr Anurag Varshney, Chief Scientist of Patanjali Research Institute, said that infection control trial will be conducted using Coronil on the spike protein of Omicron JN-1 virus, the results of which will establish new dimensions in the field of virus control.
