Dehradun, 26 Apr: A group of 50 B Pharma students of Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dehradun, along with two faculty members, Prof M Deorari and Dr Ankit Sharma, paid a visit to learn industrial processes at the Himalaya Wellness Company, Dehradun unit, today.
They were shown the museum, herbal garden and production area. They learnt about the functioning of the Pharma Industry in practical form. The students were very curious after watching the various processes.
Unit President Dr S Farooq, in his address, told them about the developments that have taken place in recent years and encouraged them to undertake research and development in this field, which is one of the best careers today. He pointed out that Pharmaceutical Sciences are the basis of medical wellbeing. All the queries raised by students were suitably replied by him.
Prof Deorari proposed the vote of thanks.
