Pottery Classes held at DPS, Vikasnagar

By Our Staff Reporter

Dehradun, 26 Apr: A specially curated pottery training session was arranged for the students of DPS, Vikasnagar, here, today. Pottery as an art form has been an integral part of Indian culture and, hence, the special session helped to re-root the students with the past.
The potter, Manoj Kumar, with the help of faculty members especially of Pre-Primary section, headed the workshop. Students from Nursery to Grade 7 took part in the workshop. The children made objects of their interest, renaming them from pots to flower vases. The children were delighted to see the pots being formed before their eyes and at the touch of their hands, enhancing the experiential learning process.

The students thanked Anubha for conducting such a wonderful session.

The students thanked all the faculty members and the Principal, Soneyaa Kumar, for organising the workshop.
