Dehradun, 19 May: Chief Guest Justice Rajesh Tandon, Chairman, Law Commission of Uttarakhand, said that he felt blessed after watching the ‘Exhibition on the Holy Quran in the Mirror of Calligraphic Art’, here, today.
He said that the Quran gave a message of Peace and Brotherhood. There was one God and people should follow the teachings of Prophet Mohammed. He was expressing his views at the valedictory programme of the two-day ‘Exhibition on the Holy Quran in the Mirror of Calligraphic Art’.
Qalbe Haider Zaidi and Shia Imam Shahanshah Alam Zaidi also expressed their views on the occasion. Sardar Jasbir Singh and his family witnessed the exhibition and his daughter, Jaspreet, presented a painting which had Allah written on it!
Dr Ashwani Kumar, former DG, FRI, also expressed his views and said it would promote peace and brotherhood in society. Naushad Ahmed, GM, JP Residency, Dr Sunil Saini, Director, CRI, Himalayan Hospital and Sweta Rai Talwar also visited the Quran Exhibition and praised Dr S Farooq for the magnificent collection of rare Holy Qurans.
Shahzade, the younger brother of Dr Farooq, recited Hamd and Naat, and Dr Syed Faisal recited the ninety-nine names of Allah!
An unprecedented crowd of male, female, the young and old witnessed the precious articles engraved with Holy Quran Ayat and its translations in various Indian and foreign languages including French, Chinese, Garhwali and Kumaoni.
At the end, Dr S Farooq thanked all those who were present at the 2 day exhibition of the Holy Quran in the Mirror of Calligraphic Art, which concluded this evening.
