Dehradun, 26 Apr: St Thomas’ College, today, held its 103rd Investiture for 26 prefects. The students go through a rigorous selection process for this prestigious appointment. They are the representatives of the student body and embody the best in student qualities that the school has to offer.
This day also became special because their parents were also invited, and they honoured their wards with the Prefect Badges and Ties. Sarena Mann and Daniel Imbert were appointed as the two College Captains.
The Prefects took an oath pledging their commitment to the school and promising to live up to the College motto, ‘Build Ye High and Build Ye True’.
In accordance with tradition, the House Banners carried by the Prefects, led by the two College Captains holding the School Flag, walked down the aisle, looking forward to the new academic year with zealous anticipation.
The principal congratulated and wished the newly appointed Prefects the best and impressed on them to carry out their responsibilities and duties, honestly and diligently.
