DEHRADUN, 22 Dec: The heart patients have started availing the facility of Intravascular Ultrasound Technique Studies (I.V.U.S.) at the Cath Lab of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. The ultrasound of I.V.U.S. technique is called the Super modern format of modern tests of heart. The facility of I.V.U.S. ultrasound is available only in the reputed medical institutions of India and abroad. The Heart Super specialists hold the opinion that the test results of I.V.U.S. Ultrasound are very helpful in obtaining the test results of heart diseases. This information was provided by the Medical Superintendent Dr. Vinay Rai, Additional Medical Superintendent Dr. V.K. Bihari and Cath Lab Director Dr. Tanuj Bhatia while interacting with the media personnel.

While addressing the media personnel, Medical Superintendent Dr. Vinay Rai said that the most modern facility of Intravascular Ultrasound Studies (I.V.U.S.) is benefiting the heart patients in their tests and treatment.
With the assistance of I.V.U.S. technique, better results of angioplasty have been received at the hospital. For the tests of very critical heart patients, results of I.V.U.S. technique have proved to be extremely helpful. All such patients who suspect the chance or doubt of heart disease or are on border-line, must go for I.V.U.S. ultrasound test.
Director of hospital’s Cath Lab, Dr. Tanuj Bhatia informed that Intravascular Ultrasound Studies technique is constantly helping us in achieving better results for the patients at the Cath Lab. Answers to significant questions like how much is the blockage in the arteries of the heart? Is there need of stunting in the heart? And other relevant questions about tests and treatment of heart diseases are found by I.V.U.S. and F.F.R. tests. In Optimal Angioplasty, the I.V.U.S. technique delivers relevant details within just 2 to 3 minutes which assist the Cardiologist in the best treatment of the patient. When Cardiologist has more accurate results of tests, then he goes for stunting of the patient only when it’s the last option.
