Rishikesh, 14 Nov: THDC India Limited (THDCIL), the Nodal Agency for Uttarakhand, successfully conducted a State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2018 at Rishikesh, today. Vijay 
Goel, Director (Personnel) gave away the prizes to the winners of the Competition. Earlier in the day, the selected 100 students from across the State, 50 in Group-A (Classes 4, 5 & 6) and 50 in Group-B (Classes 7, 8 & 9) participated in the Competition. Out of these Ist, IInd and IIIrd position holders in each category will now represent Uttarakhand State in the National Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation proposed to be conducted in Delhi in December.
The winners of the State Level Painting Competition are: Group A (Classes 4, 5, 6) – Ist Position – Aayush Bardiya, Class 5, DPS, BHEL, Haridwar; IInd Position – Rama Sharma, Class-VI, Aacharyakulam, Patanjali, Haridwar; IIIrd Position – P Saishama, Class-VI, Aacharyakulam, Patanjali, Haridwar. In Group – B (Classes 7, 8 & 9),
Ist Position was taken by Aadisha Grover, Class 8, Aacharyakulam, Patanjali, Haridwar; IInd Position – Samidha R Higane, Class-VII, Aacharyakulam, Patanjali, Haridwar; IIIrd Position – Hema Mehra, Class-IX, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ranikhet, Almora.
