Rishikesh, 25 Aug: THDC India Limited (THDCIL) began its ‘HR Confluence: Vimarsh 2025’ at its state-of-the-art Takshashila HRD Centre, here, today. The two-day event, being held on 25–26 August, brings together eminent HR professionals, thought leaders, and senior executives from across sectors to deliberate on the future of human resource practices.

Speaking on the occasion, RK Vishnoi, CMD, THDCIL, congratulated Team HR, THDCIL, for organising a confluence of such national importance and highlighted that forums like Vimarsh 2025 play a vital role in shaping the discourse on people-centric growth. Vishnoi emphasised that, in today’s rapidly changing landscape, HR stands at the very forefront of organisational transformation, enabling institutions to remain Resilient and Innovative.

Vishnoi further remarked that, at THDCIL, people are regarded as the true drivers of growth and excellence, and therefore, constant focus on leadership readiness, employee well-being, and capacity-building is imperative. He added that Vimarsh 2025 is not only a platform for dialogue but a collective effort to build a pool of future-ready leaders across the public sector, aligned with India’s vision of becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

The Confluence was inaugurated in the presence of Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), Paresh Ranpara, Director (HR), Grid India; Mridul Srivastava, Business Transformation Leader & Solutionist; Dr AN Tripathy, CGM (HR-Admin, CC) THDCIL; and other senior officers of THDCIL and participating organisations.

Shallinder Singh, while addressing the participants of the confluence, stated that the summit is not just a congregation of HR leaders, but a platform for dialogue, exchange of ideas, and co-creation of strategies that will help shape the future strategies of human resource management in organisations, and open a dialogue to embrace the upcoming challenges, changes and enable collaboration and readiness to face them collectively with mutual knowledge sharing and collective strategy.

Singh also stated that the name of THDCIL HR summit, Vimarsh, is a Sanskrit word, that translates to “deliberation” or “discussion.” It perfectly encapsulates the purpose of the gathering: to engage in a meaningful dialogue on the ever-evolving landscape of HR, sharing insights, experiences, and charting a path forward together.

The two-day Confluence, organised in collaboration with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), witnessed active participation from senior HR leaders representing various PSUs and leading organisations across sectors.

A key highlight of the Confluence was an engaging panel discussion on ‘Leadership Readiness in an AI-Driven World’, featuring eminent corporate HR leaders including Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), THDCIL; Paresh Ranpara, Director (HR), Grid India; Mridul Srivastava, Business Transformation Leader & Solutionist; and Ashissh Kaul, Director – Consulting & Capacity Building, SHRM India.
