DEHRADUN, 20 Apr: With rich experience spanning over two decades, ‘Career educator’ Sangeeta Kain attains the distinction of becoming the 3rd Lady Principal of Welham Boys School. She was appointed after the previous principal, Gunmeet Bindra relinquished charge to start her own school in Punjab. Formerly Kain has headed the Him Jyoti School in Dehradun and has worked in leadership positions in top institutions such as Amity and DPS Jaipur. She has also served as Founder Dean of The Credence High School, Dubai. Kain has rich experience in Theater, Hindustani Vocal Music, Sitar and Sports. She has been at the helm in prestigious boarding as well as day schools. As the third Lady Principal of the WBS her impact at the school would be reminiscent of the strong influence of the founder, Ms Hersille Susie Oliphant. Expectations from her are indeed high. Her husband Kul Bhushan Kain is also an educationist and from Dehradun. He studied at St Joseph’s Academy.
