Dehradun, 26 Mar: On the occasion of Ram Navami, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami honoured girls representing the Goddess by performing Kanya Pujan at his official residence here today. He fed the girls according to traditional customs and received their blessings.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while wishing the people of the state on Ram Navami, said, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram. The entire life of Lord Shri Ram inspires us to follow the path of truth and righteousness with devotion to duty.”
The Chief Minister said that he prays to Lord Shri Ram that everyone’s life be filled with happiness, prosperity, and well-being, and that the state continues to progress. He said that the festival of Ram Navami further strengthens faith in dignity, ideals, and moral values.
The Chief Minister also said that Kanya Pujan is an important part of the rich cultural tradition, which gives the message of women’s respect and social harmony.
Wishing happiness, peace and prosperity to the people of the state, the Chief Minister extended Ram Navami greetings to everyone.
