New Delhi, 9 Jun: Ayushi Nagar, Founder of Khwaahish NGO, along with Nirmal Joshi, met Sudhansh Pant, Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, at his office in New Delhi to discuss the organisation’s ongoing initiatives.
Khwaahish, a Kashipur-based NGO, is dedicated to the holistic development of children from aspirational and underserved communities. During the meeting, Sudhansh Pant also held discussions on the betterment of youth in aspirational districts through the Community-Based Peer-Led Intervention (CPLI) Scheme, emphasising the importance of preventive and community-driven approaches for youth empowerment. Children who were once engaged in rag-picking or exposed to substance abuse are now receiving quality education, vocational training, and opportunities to build dignified futures. The organisation’s core mission is to nurture compassionate, responsible, and empowered young citizens.
Over 500 children have been directly impacted through Khwaahish’s various programmes. During the meeting, Ayushi also presented handmade products created through the organisation’s initiatives. Secretary Sudhansh Pant and the Joint Secretary appreciated the dedication, hard work, and meaningful efforts of the team in creating positive change and transforming lives at the grassroots level.
