Dehradun, 28 Jul: St. Jude’s School successfully hosted Mindspree 2026, an exciting Annual Academic and Creative Fest that brought together talented atudents from 22 leading schools in and around Dehradun this year. The events of Mindspree Day Two provided an inspiring platform for participants to demonstrate excellence in Business, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship and Home Science while promoting critical thinking, collaboration and experiential learning.
The concluding day of Mindspree 2026 had host Principal M Gardner as the Guest of Honour.
In the Inter-School General Knowledge Quiz, twelve schools participated enthusiastically despite heavy rainfall, with the top Six Teams qualifying for the Grand Finale after an Elimination Round. The Finalists competed in challenging Rounds on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Sports, Politics, Entertainment and Rapid Fire, displaying exceptional knowledge, teamwork and quick thinking. St Joseph’s Academy emerged as the Winners, while St Jude’s School secured the Runners-Up position. As the host School, St Jude’s relinquished the Runners-Up Trophy to Ann Mary School.
The Inter-School Business Quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from nine reputed schools. Through challenging rounds on Commerce, Economics, Accounts, Stock Market, Mutual Funds and Rapid Fire, students showcased remarkable analytical ability and business awareness. The Presidency International School emerged as the Winners, while St Patrick’s Academy secured the First Runners-Up position.
The Inter-School Mathematics Quiz brought together twelve schools for an engaging contest of logical reasoning, numerical ability and teamwork. Following a closely fought final, St Joseph’s Academy were the Winners. St Jude’s School finished as the First Runners-Up and, as the host School, relinquished the trophy to Ann Mary School.
The Inter-School Home Science Contest celebrated culinary creativity through the themes of Futuristic Cuisine, Fusion Cuisine and Storytelling Cuisine. Participants impressed the Judges with innovative, nutritious and aesthetically presented dishes while demonstrating excellent standards of hygiene, teamwork and presentation. The Competition encouraged healthy eating habits, creativity and appreciation of diverse culinary traditions. The Aryan School were declared the Winners. St Jude’s School were the First Runners-Up but relinquished the Trophy to Ann Mary School.
The Entrepreneurship on Instagram Contest highlighted the growing role of digital platforms in business innovation. Seven teams presented original business ideas through creatively designed Instagram profiles, demonstrating branding, marketing and entrepreneurial skills. St Joseph’s Academy were adjudged the Winners and St Patrick’s Academy were the First Runners-Up.
The Overall Winners of Mindspree 2026 were St Joseph’s Academy.
In her Vote of Thanks, Principal M Gardner, St Jude’s School, expressed her sincere gratitude to everyone whose dedication, hard work and commitment contributed to the resounding success of the Annual Academic and Creative Festival. She conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to the Principals of the participating Schools for their continued support, cooperation and encouragement, which played a significant role in making the event a memorable and enriching experience. She also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the Staff and Students, whose enthusiasm and teamwork ensured the smooth conduct of the festival. In her concluding remarks, she congratulated all the participants on their commendable performances and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence with confidence, creativity, and perseverance.
