KHATIMA, 1 Aug: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday had an interaction with the local citizens and the public representatives at his camp office located at Lohia Head helipad here. During the interaction, he attentively heard their grievances and suggestions and directed the officials concerned to ensure prompt, transparent and quality disposal of complaints received, giving priority to matters raised by the people.
Addressing the people on the occasion, the CM noted that public service is the core objective of the government and timely resolution of common people’s problems remains among the highest priorities of the State administration. He directed officials to examine each complaint with sensitivity and provide effective solutions so that citizens are not compelled to make unnecessary rounds of government offices.
Dhami emphasised that the government is working with the mantra of simplification, solution and satisfaction, and reminded that the accountability of governance and administration can be meaningful only when citizens receive quick and satisfactory redressal of their issues. He asked officials to act with seriousness, transparency and sensitivity in all matters of public interest.
The CM also discussed development requirements and public concerns of the region with the representatives present and assured them that the State government is committed to accelerating development works and strengthening civic amenities in line with the expectations of the people.
Later, at the Khatima camp office, he also handed over 27 differently‑abled persons 77 assistive devices and handed over to 22 senior citizens, 113 assistive devices. In addition, 11 battery rickshaws, 14 wheelchairs, 18 commode chairs, six tricycles, 24 hearing machines, 40 knee braces, 13 crutches along with walkers, walking sticks, silicon cushions and CP chairs were also distributed on the occasion. Under the Gramotthan Reep scheme, Bolero vehicles were handed over to Nari Shakti Gram Organisation Gadarpur and Satyamev Jayate CLF Bazpur, while a food van was given to Ekta CLF Gadarpur.
On the occasion, Lal Batti holders Anil Kapoor Dabbuu, Kishan Singh Kinna, Gambhir Singh Dhami, Ranjit Singh Namdhari, Mohini Pokharia, District Magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Ganpati, VC Jai Kishan, Chief Development Officer Divesh Shasni, Additional District Magistrate Kaustubh Mishra, District Social Welfare Officer Aman Anirudh along with several public representatives and officials were among those present.
