Dehradun, 1 Jul: Suneet Mehra, the outgoing President of Dehradun Club, was re-elected as the President at the Annual Election held on 29 June. He secured 657 votes in favour, with 415 against and defeated Manoj Suri, who also secured more votes in favour than in dissent, managing 565 against 488.
In addition, those elected as members of the Club Committee are Hari Mohan Rastogi, Muneesh Kumar Gupta, Praveen Malhotra, Rahul Sharma and Siddharth Trivedi.
Before the election, the Annual General Meeting was held on the same day. The elections were held under supervision of Chief Election Officer Rajeev Nangia while Sankalp Chaturvedi was the scrutiniser. After the elections, Club President Suneet Mehra reiterated that the Club activities will be taken forward with even greater enthusiasm.
