Dehradun, 29 Sep: Raiwala Military Station is organising a cycling expedition, titled “Ride of Honour: Connecting with Veterans & Veer Naris”, from 27 September to 2 October in the general area of Haridwar and Rishikesh. The expedition is aimed at reaching out to Veterans and Veer Naris to strengthen bonds, understand their concerns, and provide support to address the issues they face.

During the event, a dedicated team from Raiwala Military Station will connect with over 150 Veer Naris, War Widows/ NOK & Veterans who have served the nation with valour and fortitude. The team will be making personal visits to Dhalwala, Bhuttuwala, Shyampur, Birbhadra and Nepali Farm villages in Rishikesh and Haridwar.
The initiative provides a platform for veterans and Veer Naris to voice their challenges and concerns. As part of this outreach, the Station is working closely with local authorities and relevant organisations to ensure that the issues raised are resolved effectively and promptly.
The Ride of Honour reflects the Army’s commitment to the welfare of those who have served the nation, ensuring that their sacrifices are recognised and their needs addressed.
