Dehradun, 17 Dec: Under the directions issued by District Magistrate Savin Bansal, the Begging Rescue Team in Dehradun rescued two children involved in begging and four children involved in child labour from Mohit Nagar, Balliwala Chowk, here, today. After completing their general diary (GD) and medical procedures, the children were presented before the Child Welfare Committee. Five of the children were placed in an open shelter, while one child was kept in the Government Children’s Home.
