Dehradun, 27 Dec: Nodal Officer of the Winter-Line Carnival being held in Mussoorie and Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah today announced that the national flag will be flown at half-mast in the district in view of the seven day national mourning following the demise of Dr Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India. This seven-day period began on 26 December 2024 and will conclude on 1 January 2025.
Shah also stated that all cultural programmes scheduled for the Winter Carnival in Mussoorie have been cancelled. Shah has also shared that the officers concerned have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with these directives.
