Dehradun, 2 Jan: After promotion to the level of Secretary in Uttarakhand Government, senior IAS officers Dhiraj Singh Garbyal, C Ravi Shankar, Ranveer Singh Chauhan and Jugal Kishore Pant assumed charge at the Secretariat here today.
In addition to these officers, DM, Dehradun, Savin Bansal will have to wait at least till the municipal elections are over to be transferred and posted as Secretary, while Dr Raghav Langer and Jyoti Yadav are on Central deputation and will be transferred only after their central deputation is over.
In addition, the Union Government has also approved empanelment of IPS Officer Sweety Aggarwal of Uttarakhand Cadre to the level of Inspector General for central deputation. It may be recalled that Sweety Aggarwal is a 2006 batch IAS officer.
