DEHRADUN, 27 Jan: Kasiga School celebrated the 76th Republic Day with a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s spirit of unity and democracy. The morning began with the grand unfurling of the tricolor by Rajput Surendra Singh (head of School), as the students stood in reverence, embodying the essence of patriotism.
The event unfolded with a powerful Hindi patriotic poem that stirred emotions, followed by a melodious choir performance celebrating the rich heritage of India. A special highlight was the stirring solo by Verma sir (Head of Sports) who paid homage to the indomitable courage of Bhagat Singh Ji through a soulful rendition, captivating everyone present.
Arundhati Shukla, deputy head of school, delivered an inspiring speech, reminding students and staff of their role in shaping the Nation’s future. In a moment of unity and resolve, the school community took a solemn pledge to uphold the values of justice, equality, and liberty.
The celebration concluded with the singing of the national Anthem, filling the air with pride and hope. The day was a reminder of India’s glorious journey and the shared commitment to building a brighter tomorrow.
