DEHRADUN, 27 Jan: The Republic Day celebration at Doon International School was a grand and memorable event, graced by the presence of the chief guest, Aloke Lal, a distinguished former IPS officer and accomplished artist. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Lal and school chairman, DS Mann, followed by a salute to the tricolor. The event was further honoured by the presence of the Founder Principal, MK Maan, Managing Director Gaganjot Maan and Principal Dinesh Bartwal.
Students filled the air with patriotic spirit through melodious songs, while inspiring speeches were delivered by Aditya Devshali in Hindi and Avneesh Singh Chauhan in English. Addressing the gathering, the chief guest delivered an insightful speech that emphasized the values of patriotism and responsibility. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by the school head boy, Berain Bohra, followed by the collective singing of the National Anthem. The distribution of sweets brought the celebration to a joyous end, leaving the audience inspired and uplifted.
