New Delhi, 21 Jul: BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt today made a courtesy call on BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda at his parliamentary chamber on the first day of the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Parliament. Expressing gratitude for being reappointed as the state party chief, Bhatt conveyed his firm commitment to fulfilling the organisation’s expectations and strengthening the BJP’s grassroots presence in Uttarakhand.
During their discussion, Bhatt presented a detailed account of the ongoing three-tier Panchayat elections in the state, outlining the party’s preparedness and expressing optimism about securing a decisive victory. He also shared updates on organisational activities across various districts, including mobilisation efforts, cadre engagement, and coordination of upcoming party programmes in alignment with national strategies.
Bhatt reaffirmed his pledge to lead the state unit with dedication and promised continued coordination with the central leadership through Nadda’s guidance. The meeting assumed significance in light of the party’s renewed focus on expanding its rural footprint, especially through Panchayat-level outreach ahead of future electoral cycles.
