Nainital, 27 Nov: On a tour of Nainital today, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held an informal public hearing and interacted with citizens from different parts of the district at the Administrative Academy in Nainital. During the interaction, he heard a wide range of grievances and concerns and instructed the officials to ensure their prompt resolution. During the interaction, villagers from Saur village expressed gratitude to Dhami for sanctioning the Pangot–Dechaudi road and stated that the approval had fulfilled their long-pending demand and would significantly improve connectivity for residents of the region. They also raised the issue of posting teachers and constructing a building for the Government Inter College at Saur, upon which the CM directed the DM to take necessary action.
Among those present at the meeting were Nainital MLA Sarita Arya, BJP District President Pratap Bisht, Anil Kapoor Dabbu, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat, IG-Kumaon Ridhim Agarwal, DM Lalit Mohan Rayal, SSP-Nainital Manjunath TC and several officials, public representatives, and members of the public.
