Dehradun, 12 Jan: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today formally released the official 2026 New Year calendar published by the Information Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister appreciated the calendar’s attractive design, excellent print quality, and content, stating that it serves as a powerful medium to effectively communicate the state government’s schemes, achievements, welfare policies, as well as its historic and visionary decisions to the public.
The Chief Minister said that the calendar published by the Information Department is not merely a compilation of dates, but an important document reflecting Uttarakhand’s developmental journey, administrative commitment, and dedication to public service. Through this calendar, the continuous efforts of the state government are presented in a well-organised and creative manner, making it both informative and inspiring for the general public.
CM Dhami congratulated the Information Department team for this excellent publication, highlighting that the department has always played the role of a bridge between the government and the people. He expressed hope that, in the future, the department will continue to disseminate public-interest information widely and effectively using innovative technologies, creative thinking, and new ideas, ensuring that accurate information about government schemes and policies reaches every citizen.
On this occasion, Additional Secretary, Information, Banshidhar Tiwari, Deputy Director, Information, Manoj Srivastava, and Chairman of the Uttarakhand Media Advisory Committee Govind Singh were also present.
